More Than More Like

You love me more than I love you.
That's why I feel so bad.
But if I love you more than you
love me, I would feel sad.

Between my guilt and misery
I'd rather be the first,
and learn to see much more of me,
more like what you observed.

Guess in any love relationship, there's never an equal love situation. What would be the yardsticks anyway? Perhaps the way one loves is just different from the other?

Having said that, the 'I' in this case appears to introduce another dimension of love, and that is self-love. How can one fully love the other if there's a lack of self-love?
