Poem: "Helen the Poet"

Helen the Poet

All words, anyway
are epitaphs.

      Linda Pastan, “Friday’s Child”

I often confuse epigraph with epitaph,
to write with to grieve.
But your poems speak so well of love.
Yes, they are brief.
