Days: Julio Marquez

Julio Marquez

He would have made a great father
but Steve did not want
another child,
and so he was a great uncle to Tim,
opening up the train conductor’s
cubicle, touring the repair yard
another weekend,
riding the new train before
any of his schoolmates had seen it.
On the R160B he had the wild idea
of leaving Tim in the car before
the train pulled away
from the station of changed circumstance.
